During the first week of March bulls began streaming down the mountains, out of the woods, and into the valleys. The rut was slightly delayed due to warmer weather in mid-month, peaking around March 25. Throughout the season we found prolific numbers of young stags poised to be exceptional trophies in the years to come. The outlook for next year, according to what we’ve documented, is exceptional.
